Club Coach Weekly prevents isolation, presents ideas and provides inspiration to club coaches throughout the world. This electronic newsletter is written by successful club coaches and is freely available to anyone who wants to improve a Toastmaster club. Please note that these stories complement, but do not replace the quality instruction found in 'How to Rebuild a Toastmasters Club'. Editors's Choice Awards
The Editor's Choice Award recognizes especially effective club coaches. Coaches who 1) help a low-membership club win the Distinguished (or better) Club Award 2) write and share their story with Club Coach Weekly 3) have coached so well, that the club wins the Distinguished (or better) Club Award a year later. We also awarded the Editor's Choice Award to our two educational articles.
What does it mean? These coaches are good. Only 25% (187/763) of coached clubs achieved Distinguished (or better) status in the 2009-2010 Toastmaster year. One year later, only 42% (78/187) of those successfully coached clubs are Distinguished (or better). Read our 16 Editor's Choice Award winners to learn how to rebuild a club for long-term success.
